The Worley Appellate Difference

Our seasoned appellate advocates, legal researchers and proven appellate brief writers leverage the latest technology for advanced research, strategy and communications to develop your case and keep you informed.

Our team will work closely with you to guide you through the appeal process and fight tirelessly to secure the results you need.

Criminal Appeals

Criminal appeals are time-sensitive since a conviction or sentence may involve incarceration. Spending even one day in detention due to a wrongful conviction or overly harsh sentence is unacceptable. Worley Appellate will fight aggressively to prevent unjustified incarceration by identifying the best issues and strategy for your appeal and by submitting a well-researched and argued brief designed to persuade the court of appeals.

Civil Appeals

A loss in the trial court usually comes after an expensive and time-consuming process.  When you have too much on the line to simply accept defeat and move on, Worley Appellate teams up with you and your trial counsel to manage your second – and perhaps last--  chance at a favorable outcome.

The Appellate Process

Appeals are different from trial court proceedings.  For one thing, the trial court must make an error before you can appeal. And there are filing deadlines to meet, including an initial notice that you are appealing.  Your initial consultation with Worley Appellate helps us determine whether there are errors that give grounds for an appeal and the procedural steps we need to take.
